THE STYLE EDIT | FASHION WEEK
FASHFEST NIGHT ONE
Last night Fashfest now in it's fourth year opened with with a bang.
Fashfest 2016 is finally here people. This year’s show was postponed to align with the international fashion season. Which I for one was thrilled because last year I was on the verge of hypothermia from how cold and windy it was, that and this year because of the warmer weather there’s more chance of more out there red carpet looks from the Canberra style crowd. Last nights show opened with a bang, the format changed slightly to the previous year with not one show but two shows with live musical acts and a short film in each set making the night more of an event rather than just your standard runway show which in my eyes is a great way to go when it’s a public event and not an industry one like friends and I are used to attending.
The opening show for the week definitely opened with a bang not just because of the designers showing but also musically with live performances by local MC KIRKLAND (Insert url) and DJ Ave Nocturner who both were well matched with the first set of designer.
